Visitors' note

  1. Due to the small size of the island of Kihnu and the close proximity of its neighbours, we ask all our guests to respect the night curfew, which starts from 00:00-07:00 (31 May to 1 September) according to public regulations, click here for more information. Of course, you can still have a good time, but in moderation and without disturbing the family or other guests. In case of non-compliance with this rule, and if you continue to disturb the peace and quiet, the party will be asked to leave the property and the booking fee will not be refunded.

  2. Late check-out from the booked room is possible with prior agreement with the host. Late check-out costs €10/1h per room and only if no one else has booked a room on the same day. If you wish to vacate the room at 11.00 and stay longer on our premises, you must inform the host family first and agree on a possible check-out time.

  3. Under no circumstances is it acceptable to be rude to our property, family, animals or other customers on our territory. This includes insulting the family and other guests, raising your voice, harassing animals or other guests, vandalising property, etc. If a client is unable to behave in a calm and reasonable manner, we will unfortunately have to ask the client to leave our home. The given booking fee will not be refunded.

  4. Kihnu Sepa OÜ does not ask for a deposit, but in case of damage to or destruction of our dwellings, equipment or other valuables, we may ask for all or part of the cost of the item, and an invoice will be issued. If these situations are not found during the customer's stay and are found later after the customer has left, we will contact the person who booked the accommodation and explain the circumstances.

  5. Kihnu Sepa OÜ values clean nature and recycling. Be sure to ask for and leave your own bottles in the correct container and general rubbish in the designated places. In case we see a huge amount of littering, we may charge extra for sorting the garbage.

  6. Our accommodation has bed linen and towels for everyone to make themselves comfortable. Guests are advised to bring their own paper towels and paper plates, mosquito repellent in summer, headgear, comfortable slippers and any food you may need. We have a cooker and fridge.

  7. Barbecuing is only allowed in designated areas and the family must be informed first. We will show you where to barbecue and provide you with the necessary supplies. Some crockery and cutlery will be provided on site, but we recommend that you bring reusable crockery. The dishes on our farm can only be used in the outdoor kitchen. After the barbecue, the fire should be extinguished with water.

  8. Please do not take wood from the shed for sauna, hot tub or grilling meat. The family will heat the sauna and the hot tub for you (firewood is included in the price). If you need to buy extra coal or firewood, please inform the family first.

  9. Shared spaces are shared equally between all our customers. We therefore ask for a sympathetic attitude towards other customers.

  10. We kindly ask you to leave your shoes outside the door in all indoor areas.

  11. We kindly ask you to use personal dishes from the Sepa farm only in the outdoor kitchen.

  12. We are happy to share the kitchen with other customers, if you would like to spend more time with a group please let us know in advance so we can book a room for you. The maximum booking for a group is 1h. There is also a separate "Olgi" room available for larger groups at a cost of 50€/4h, each additional hour 10€. Please book at: sepakodumajutus@gmail.com

  13. In case of a fire, you must immediately inform the family member in the main house or call Meelis, the family man, +372 56214099, Viive, the family woman, +372 56214113. The fire extinguisher is located in the hallway above the window on the way in. If it happens that the family member cannot be reached and the fire cannot be controlled or the fire spreads too fast, call the Kihnu fire brigade immediately on 112.

  14. Smoking is not allowed in the room. Smoking residues must be disposed of in the ashtray or in places indicated by the housekeeper.

  15. If you are late for a booking or arrive early, please let us know. If you are 30 minutes late for your barrel sauna reservation and you have not informed us, we may charge you an additional fee or reduce the booked time. The same applies to all bookings.

  16. Pets are welcome, but we would like the animals to be under the supervision of their owners. Animals are not allowed to be alone in the room when the owner has left the accommodation.

  17. Well-behaved smaller pets can be housed, while larger animals should be left enclosed outdoors or on a terrace, for example. The owner is not responsible for the pets of guests. If a pet damages our property, we may charge all or part of the bill.

  18. Children young and old are always welcome. For younger children, please do not leave them unattended.

Let's be healthy and hope that this reminder makes sense for everyone. We are learning from last season's mistakes, so we have drafted these points with that in mind. Not to worry, we can be flexible and accommodating in certain situations.
